About Us
The Ace of Spades Scooter Riding Club St Helens was reformed in 2003 after its original conception in the 70's. The club was reborn as "The Ace of Spades Scooter Riding Club", not just a scooter club but a "riding" club, brought about by the desire by many to go on regular rides out.
Although the Ace of Spades is a scooter club in St Helens, increasingly scooterists are joining the club from outside the town as our "riding club" proposition attracts members from other towns in the North West region. Familiarity of the Ace of Spades has become widespread across the North West and indeed nationally following the creation of the Lancashire Alliance by club Chairman Keith Davies.
Regular ride outs are planned at the beginning of each year and generally take place on a Sunday, midweek evenings, or for longer / further events, the full weekend. |
 |
Now, with the size and popularity of the Lancashire Alliance, there are a combination of large scales "Lancs" and National events together with smaller outings for the Ace of Spades members.
Everyone is welcome! The Ace of Spades meet at The Windle in St Helens each Thursday at 8.30pm. Nothing formal, no politics, just a chat and a few shandies, feel free to turn up! We increasingly get visits to the Club from other scooter clubs within the Lancahsire Alliance, particularly in summer months when evening scooter rides are popular.
